It’s a fairly small size whole chicken, what temp and for how long? And what should the meat thermometer read?

  1. It depends upon the weight of the chicken. You should preheat the oven to 350 and cook for approximately 40 mins per pound. The temperature on the thermometer will read 180 degrees. When you puncture the skin the juice should be a clear liquid, if its pink let it cook a little longer.
