		<description>Pulling up the PC thermometer makes me think the company that makes it is Polder. After finding the same one, but with the Polder name, I checked their manuals for all similar models. The link below is for a .pdf for one of them. At the bottom of the second page it says &quot;If the thermometer/display unit reads &quot;HI or LO&quot; instead of the probe temperature while not reading cooking temperatures; it is likely the probe is damage and needs to be replaced&quot; Other models use HH or LL for HI or LO. This leads me to believe either the batteries or the probe needs to be replaced.</description>
