My dad got a Galileo Thermometer as a gift for Christmas 2 years ago. While cleaning house, my mom took it down to clean it, laid it on its side and it leaked some fluid. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to purchase replacement liquid for them or is he going to have to break down and buy a new one? We've searched the internet for a couple days…no luck. We then went back to the store where it was purchased. The clerk told us to contact the manufacturer but we've had no luck getting in touch with anyone. I'm thinking that even if we do refill it, it won't be the same. Any thoughts?? Thanks in advance!

Ok, here’s the deal. I have a 15 pound turkey thawing in a bowl of cool water… With good luck, I will cook it the day after tomorrow. With bad luck -which means if my mom suddenly changes the day of my family’s dinner party- I will carve it tomorrow. Unfortunately, I forgot to buy a meat thermometer so…
1st question
How do you know if a turkey is done without a thermometer?
2nd question
Can you use ground beef for stuffing???
If so… how do you use it (do you cook it first????¨)

thnks 4 your help
