Instant Read Themometer?
I have one of those digital cooking thermometers that connects via wire inside the oven. I have my desired temp set (165F). The only problem is that the thermometer is reaching the 165 temp when this turkey isn't anywhere near being done. Any ideas as to that I have done wrong? I have it inserted into the thickest part of the inner thigh near the breast.

Have no idea. Never used a thermometer. Probably should have been in deepest part of breast & not thigh.
Idea of cooking time is according to oven degrees, size of turkey & how many hours recommended.
Cook until fork stabbing is very easy or cut deep into turkey & check for non pink meat.
