How do you make a Celsius thermometer?
I got a chemistry homework assignment to write a three page essay on how to make a Celsius thermometer. I tried to research the subject and the best I could find was how to make a thermometer, but the thermometer made would not be accurate. It only showed students how a thermometer works. So does anyone have any idea or information on how to make a accurate CELSIUS thermometer? Thanks in advance.

Follow the instructions for a thermometer, as above.
Then place it in an ice-water mixture and mark the lowest point that it records. This will be zero degrees.
Then place it in boiling water and record the highest point that it records. This is 100.
Divide it into 100 equal segments and you now have a Celsius thermometer.
Good luck
