Can I cook food in a foil packet on top of a gas range?
I don’t really want to turn on the oven or drag out the grill, but I love the idea of cooking in foil.
If I make a foil packet with two sheets of heavy duty foil and place it on top of the gas burner, and keep it on low, wouldn’t that cook food just fine?
I use a food thermometer to make sure temps are right. Thanks.

we do veggies like that all the time and they are great. i don’t see why you can’t do other stuff, too. the gas range basically is a grill.
