I have a PC thermometer/timer that I love. We were frying a turkey and the display started showing an "HH" for the Probe temperature. Any suggestions on what may be wrong or how to reset it? Any help is greatly appreciated!

The directions on it say to cook it until the internal temp. is 150 degrees, but I don’t have a cooking thermometer. Help!! Also, do I just need to add water to the bottom of the pan, or is there anything else I should do?

Cook over medium heat stirring constantly. Cook until candy turns away from the side of pan. Add nuts and vanilla. Spread in buttered dish.
I am trying to make candy. I've heard of soft ball and hard ball and even own a cany thermometer. I'm a novice cook, but I try.

I have a pork tenderloin that is approximately 3 lb. I don’t have a meat thermometer, so I can’t just cook it until it reaches 155 degrees.
How long should I cook it and at what temperature?

Is there any reliable way to tell if you have a fever without a thermometer? Other than just putting your hand on your forehead and seeing if it's hot?

I’ve gotten mixed reviews from many sources:
This one was first once:http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00004XSC5/musicfandom
But a polder brand comes up second all the time, any help would be appreciated thanks!
Also, some come with two probes, if you have one, would two probes be worth the money? Would I use them?
