I started charting a few months ago and I’m wondering how much more mileage I have with the digital thermometer I’m using (RiteAid brand). I’d rather buy a new battery early than wait until it conks out mid cycle! Thanks ladies.

I plan on just going by the directions on the turkey package. 15-20 minutes per pound. I hope the darn thing cooks. Has anyone ever cooked one without a thermometer? How did it turn out? I won't be stuffing it. I will make the stuffing on the side.
